Hey gang, new member to the group here. I look forward to
contributing to the forum. I had my 3rd L5-S1 microdystectomy on feb 17. This was the 3rd herniation on the same disc in 4 years. It’s been quite frustrating to say the least. I have been doing great at physical therapy and am back to the golf course believe it or not. The only leftover symptoms are far downstream in the Achilles/calf and lower hamstring. I get twitching, cramping and spasming on a regular basis. I notice it particularly when I am at rest . Has anyone else dealt with these symptoms post disc surgery? It’s kind of freaky actuallly. You can see the calf twitching and I’m getting a good number of charley horses as well. Any advice would be appreciated. All of the upstream stuff is good (back and buttock and upper leg sciatica pain). Those symptoms are completely resolved. Thanks a bunch
